Last year my attempt at carrots was a bit of a disaster. They all grew into each other in gnarled knots and by the time I harvested them they were still tiny but tasted bitter 😦
I learned that Honey helped hide the bitter flavour hahhaa
This year, i was careful to plant in rows and tried not to spread the seed to thickly.
Now they are big enough, a few get thinned out from every row each week….
They are looking and tasting great as ‘Baby Carrots’, hopefully i will get some ‘full sized’ (size is sometimes important lol) by the end of the season 🙂
