The sunflower strip – now featuring Sweet Peas!

Converting the ‘Sunflower Strip’ to a ‘Sweet Pea’ garden has been quite an underwhelming (success?)

Don’t ask why I was up at Sunrise on Monday!

(Carly didnt want to join me for a McDonalds breakfast lol)

Nearly a dozen have sprouted already!

The current stars of the garden

These are nearly 10′ tall and have flowers all the way down the stem.
Every morning (when I greet them!) there is st least 1 bee on each flower.

i think they are called ‘Autumn Sun’

All my gardens are in reclaimed ‘dead’space around my flats

Ive thinking about creating a Sunflower bed across the front of our building for weeks!

Finally did it on our Monday night (in the rain)

Why do i always get inspired to garden to when the weather is at is worst???
