Foam Box Carrots

The Carrots growing in the foam boxes (car-park garden) are doing exceptionally well this year! Even I’m surprised that they are happily growing in such a small space:There are 2 boxes this year, both with a mixture of colours.

I tried to be careful this year to plant in rows and not to use too much seed (difficult with tiny seeds) because last years crop all sort of grew into each other and looked pretty gnarly.

This years crop looks much better so far. Each week I’ve been thinning out some ‘Baby Carrots’. When i left some in the foyer a couple of weeks ago, they disappeared in just a few hours! 🙂

They are certainly more visually appealing than last year’s motley looking crop hahaha
