Needs a bit of TLC at the moment. .. but the soil looks pretty good compared with the garden around the flats

Merri Corner Community Garden
YAY! got an email to say there is a small plot available at MCCG.
Heading off to check it out in a few minutes 🙂
Every piece home grown!
All grown in foam boxes!
- Yellow and crimson carrots
- Golden, crimson and regular beets (been eating the leaves too)
- Cauliflower
The current stars of the garden
These are nearly 10′ tall and have flowers all the way down the stem.
Every morning (when I greet them!) there is st least 1 bee on each flower.
i think they are called ‘Autumn Sun’

Ive thinking about creating a Sunflower bed across the front of our building for weeks!
Finally did it on our Monday night (in the rain)
Why do i always get inspired to garden to when the weather is at is worst???
